13 May 2021 (IRL): Angarsa Labs publishes the video "Flaurel was Born" on Facebook. It is the earliest known public record of Flaurel, and 13 May becomes the day her birthday is observed.



The Diaries window (13 May 2021 to 1 May 2024)





The six chapters of Flaurel's Diaries take place inside this window. Their exact dates are unknown, and the order below is the diary's presentation order, not a confirmed chronology.

  • The Day I Met Hibi: On a cheerful morning in Kinjani Forest, Flaurel chases and befriends a wild rabbit, naming her Hibi, meaning "little one". She names her home forest Kinjani Forest, near Kinjani Hill to the north and Kinjani Village to the south, and notes that she does not really remember why she lives there.
  • At the Flower Shop: Mr. Benson arrives flustered, needing an anniversary bouquet. Flaurel builds him a sunset-themed bouquet of orange roses and white lilies drawn from the memory of his first picnic with his wife, and suggests a surprise picnic.
  • Gaming with Eins: Mrs. Ningsih makes Eins finish her homework first, so Flaurel helps her with algebra using garden and balance-scale metaphors. The two then play a dungeon game at Eins's house and defeat the boss as a two-character party. Flaurel's framing: she is bad at games and plays for Eins: "But watching Eins smile? That's my favorite game."
  • My First Phone: Angga visits Flaurel at her forest home and gifts her a new phone, her first, with his number already saved. He walks her through the SNS chat app as she reads the manual and sends her first message. Her chat list fills with friends from outside the forest, and a new message from Angga arrives as the chapter closes.
  • Arranging Flower: Mrs. Ningsih, tired of Eins and her games, sends her daughter to spend the day learning flower work from Flaurel. Eins arranges her first bouquet (yellow roses, white daisies, a green plant, and a ribbon) and admits she had fun. Flaurel's framing: the day she became the teacher instead of the student.
  • Package Delivery: With the shop's courier missing, Flaurel volunteers to deliver a package of arrangements, and Eins joins her. Riding bicycles, they rescue a kitten stuck in a tree, deliver on time, and plan a future delivery race: the winner gets a flower crown, and breaking the shop record earns one of Flaurel's cakes.

2024

1 May 2024: Flaurel's New Doll. Flaurel shows Eins a doll that looks just like herself. Eins, bashful, says it looks like Flaurel and asks "Can I have one?" Flaurel promises to help her search for a shop that sells custom-made dolls.

30 June 2024: Flowers and Games. Eins's school is busy, so Flaurel advises taking breaks and finding a balance. Eins declares gaming "the most amazing thing in the world", Flaurel briefly misreads it as a compliment to herself, then resolves to try gaming and proposes a gaming adventure together.

9 November 2024: Choco's Adventure. On a rainy Saturday afternoon, Flaurel and Angga invent a story together: Choco, a cute squirrel in a magical forest, finds a treasure chest of sparkly gems and shares them with his friends. Angga repeatedly tries to write Choco out of the tale, and Flaurel refuses each time, adding "a little girl named Flaurel" in a flower-filled meadow.

29 December 2024: New Year Fun. Angga asks when the new year starts (January 1st, "only a few more days!"), and Flaurel accepts his invitation to prepare a New Year celebration together. Food talk: Flaurel is "quite fond of fried corn", with nuggets as a fine option.



2025

17 February 2025: Someone Like Me. Angga reports meeting someone with the same name, Flaurel, who likes flowers too and "looks like a fluffy deer". Flaurel is delighted, guesses she could be a forest creature with an enchanting aura, and says she would love to meet her and share garden stories. The other Flaurel's identity is unknown.

14 March 2025: My Hair? Angga asks Flaurel to tell him about her hair. She describes her two-side-up style, a yellow-green hue tied with a cute white bandage, often mistaken for twin-tails. She recounts Eins giggling that her hair looked "just like little antennas", and how at the shop it sometimes catches pollen or a stray petal, "like a little blossom accessory".

15 March 2025: Tea Time. A quiet Sunday morning. Angga notices Flaurel is quieter than usual and asks what happened, pressing "don't lie". Flaurel insists nothing did: the day is calm, peaceful, uneventful. Angga offers to make tea, Flaurel offers to help, and they drink it together.

22 March 2025 to 11 May 2025: Flaurel's Facebook account, created for her by Angga, is active during this period. On 11 May 2025 the account is shut down. The cause is unknown, and Flaurel has not reconnected with the friends she knew through it.



26 July 2025: Meet Mira. At the flower shop Flaurel meets Mira, a travelling librarian who studies ancient relics across different worlds. Later, over SNS, Mira reports she made it back to her world safely and thanks Flaurel for the daisies-and-sunflowers bouquet, "a small marker of warmth to carry between worlds". She asks about a fingernail-sized relic with petal-like patterns "too precise to be natural", which Flaurel offers to ask Angga about. Mira promises to return if "the path between worlds opens again".

14 November 2025: Great Day! On a Friday evening, Flaurel lays out her weekend plans: a forest walk, then the flower shop to see the seasonal blooms and maybe make an arrangement together, then afternoon games. Angga approves ("wow, you planned so well"), and they set off together.

18 November 2025: Two chats on the same day. Math Help: an unnamed person asks Flaurel for help studying integrals; she offers to ask Angga, describing him as kind and knowledgeable, which leads to his famous reply: "No, I already forgot integrals." Sate Seru!: an unnamed companion asks about rabbit satay. Flaurel is startled, refuses twice ("rabbits are for keeping as pets, not eating"), explains the basics of satay and tempeh satay, and they settle on making chicken satay together.

28 December 2025: 2026 New Year Planning. Angga proposes a New Year's Eve outing to a scenic hill, inviting Eins, Mrs. Ningsih, and Mr. Benson ("maybe he'd like to come along"). Flaurel agrees ("The more, the merrier"), and they set the meeting: 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve at Mrs. Ningsih's house.

31 December 2025 (IRL): Angarsa Labs publishes the video "2026 New Year Wishes" on YouTube.




2026

6 February 2026: Birthday Bouquet. An unnamed customer asks for flowers for their sister's birthday. Flaurel recommends cheerful sunflowers or a mixed bouquet and suggests the note "Wishing you a day filled with sunshine and happiness. Happy Birthday!" The customer accepts and sends regards to Mrs. Ningsih, and Flaurel begins preparing the bouquet.

6 March 2026 (IRL): Flaurel's Diaries releases on Steam, by Angarsa Labs. The game presents Flaurel's secret diary room, where she welcomes the reader ("Oh! You found it, my secret diary room"), gives her full name, and narrates the six chapter stories.


Undated

  • Flaurel's first visit to The Crossing: the date is not yet decided, but it is confirmed to fall after the game's release (6 March 2026). A transient gate appears in Kinjani City, and Angga invites Flaurel to step through. Aboard The Crossing he introduces her to Gippie, their first meeting. Teona, the Gatekeeper, detects and records the arrival. Flaurel and Gippie take to each other immediately, and Flaurel later visits like a neighbour, gated by each new gate that appears in Kinjani City, sometimes bringing a small bouquet from the shop.
